Back in the day, this was where the bedrooms were.<\/li>\n<li>The third space, right under the bedrooms, is a large cellar that was used to store the family\u2019s harvest, mostly potatoes and wine. This cellar served as a shop during war times, and it helped people who struggled to find food at the time.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>All around La Casa del Barranco, there are vegetable gardens that the family used to grow their own produce, like tomatoes and potatoes, which they also exported to America.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignleft wp-image-59\" src=\"https:\/\/lacasadelbarranco.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/08\/Paredes-de-madera-e1691766144250-300x200.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"300\" height=\"200\" srcset=\"https:\/\/lacasadelbarranco.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/08\/Paredes-de-madera-e1691766144250-300x200.jpg 300w, https:\/\/lacasadelbarranco.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/08\/Paredes-de-madera-e1691766144250-1024x683.jpg 1024w, https:\/\/lacasadelbarranco.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/08\/Paredes-de-madera-e1691766144250.jpg 1404w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 300px) 100vw, 300px\" \/>Ships from the United States would bring the wood that ended up on our walls, floor and ceiling. If we take a closer look, we can still see the \u201cU.S.A.\u201d stamp on some of the boards.<\/p>\n<p>The wooden floor and walls make La Casa del Barranco a cosy home with a lot of charm.
